Developing again!

I've made the determination to work on Stealthman again. The website from before no longer exists, but I've started a youtube channel.

So far I've recorded songs that are already completed for it, but I've been doing work behind the scenes with lyrics and orchestrations on other parts.

I also actually finished the story for it, so now it's just a matter of working through lyrics, tunes, and recordings, etc. Since the incomplete story was the big writers block issue and a large reason why this project never moved forward, this is a huge relief.

Vocals on opening

I recorded vocals for the opening (Hero/Overture/Dr. Nememsis). Some of them are rough (some of the parts need some work) and I sang all the parts (including the girls). But I still think it's sort of fun.

Check out the song in the new player

New Website and update

I have a new website up:

Charles Dail Nielson website

There's also a new audio player. It isn't finished yet, but it should work better than the old player when it's done. Only about the first third of Stealthman's on this player.

I know I haven't been very active on this blog, but I've been busy with other projects. Particularly, checkout Living Dead and Journey to Zion on the site above. I will be getting back to Stealthman shortly.

All My Life

Well, I don't know if you can call it "finished" but I quote-finished-un-quote (re-did) All My Life -- the ending of it that is. I don't know if I love it yet though...so that's why I'm not 100% sold on the idea that it's "finished." Anyhow, check it out. (#10)

The Plight of the Planet

So I decided my song for the week would be The Plight of the Planet...initially. I've been working on it and have about 5 minutes of music. But.... I realized that I didn't have a solid idea of how this scene was really going to work and I just didn't know where to really go with the music. So......

I decided to call the 5 minutes good for this week and I'll finish up one of the other songs that's mostly finished as the "finished" song for the week.

Anyhow, check out The Plight of the Planets (#44)...what I have so far at least. (Once again, oboe (and bassoon) have the melody.)
